STEP 01

Prepare and inspect

Check the tooling is clean, dry, undamaged and correctly assembled. Confirm all required contact surfaces and fixtures are ready under your production procedure.

STEP 02

Set up the filling trial

Use the approved conditions for your formula and tooling. Record the settings rather than transferring temperature or cooling values from a different formula.

STEP 03

Evaluate release and fit

After the approved cooling stage, follow the specified release sequence. Inspect the formed stick and check its fit with the intended package.

STEP 04

Record and review

Record defects, operating conditions and the mold or tray identifier. Share photos or video with the supplier when asking for process support.

Apply this to your tooling.

This is general preparation guidance. The approved instructions for your mold material, coating, formula and production procedure take priority.
