Record the formula being removed and the tooling material or coating. Ask the supplier which cleaners and methods are compatible with that combination.
STEP 02
Remove residue carefully
Follow the approved cleaning procedure. Avoid scraping precision cavity surfaces with sharp tools or using unapproved abrasives.
STEP 03
Inspect before the next run
Check cavities, joints and hard-to-reach areas for remaining residue or damage. Your production quality procedure should define cleanliness acceptance.
STEP 04
Dry and protect
Dry all relevant surfaces using the approved method before reassembly or storage. Keep cleaned parts protected from contamination.
